THE DARK SUN

You can place your trust in authority or you can trust your senses.

You look up at the sky to see the sun when the sun is in the sky. And when it is dark, you might see the moon and the stars, in the sky. When things are further away, they appear lower in our perspective. Looking at the Eiffel tower from a distance, it would appear substantially lower than if you were standing right next to it. The sun is the same. When it is far away it appears much lower but were you to travel quickly in it's direction, it would gradually appear higher in the sky. That is how it works. The sun is in the sky and when you get to where it is exactly over your head then that is about as close as you can be to it, from the ground.

The moon and sun are not thousands and millions of miles away, they are in the sky, not that far above us. The sun and the moon travel above, and around the earth, and at different speeds, like hands of a clock above us. You never see the moon when the sun is close to her because the sun will outshine the moon. It is interesting that in The Book of Enoch, the sun is said to be seven times as bright as the moon, that could be right.

What the sun and moon are made of, I could not say. The sun is too bright to study. But at times the moon appears somewhat translucent, and stars can be seen through her, you can see crescent and stars. And the moon emits her own light, which is cooling, not warming. She rotates slowly, and looks like a three dimensional disk.

Saying that the earth casts a shadow on the moon is like saying the floor of your room can cast a shadow on the light hanging from the ceiling. It doesn't work like that. There is a third entity in the sky. It is similar in size and shape, to the sun and the moon. A third celestial body travels close to the moon. It travels in front of the moon from our perspective and it's circular shape obscures our view of the moon. That is why the moon appears crescent shaped. Sometimes it hides the moon altogether.

Solar and lunar eclipses are caused by the presence of a third celestial entity. In Hindu this dark entity is called Rahu. It is also called the Black Sun, and the Dark Sun. You see a dark entity close to the moon. It appears to be just closer than the moon is, to us. There is room between the moon and the dark sun and when the sun travels between them, it will outshine the moon, as usual, but the dark sun is strong enough to block the beam of the sun. That is what happens during a solar eclipse, it is due to the Dark Sun.

All this raises interesting questions on the roles of the three entities, how they work together, and the effect they might have on each other. Why does the dark sun appear to follow the moon so closely, or could it be the other way around, and does the moon follow the dark sun? Like a lot of people, I feel the moon has influence on our emotions, and mental state, to some extent. What then could be the effect of a dark sun never obscuring the moon - a permanent Full Moon. Maybe we would all go completely loony, it could be interesting. And the Sun gives life, without the sun, things would not grow. It is vital for life on earth. Maybe the Sun travels faster than the Dark Sun for good reason.
